Owner: Jeff "Sarge" Wieder
Car: 1985 CRX DX, "Liz"
Mods: Del Sol seats
Ground Control coilovers
Integra rear discs
Personal steering wheel
Magnaflow exhaust

Jeff named his first-generation CRX after his grandmother, Elizabeth, who passed away shortly before he bought it. He used part of his inheritance to pick up the car, which meant it was only fitting that the rex would carry on her name. Besides, Jeff's grandmother's initials are the same as the CRX's engine code, EW. "What else could I name it?" He says. The 28-month restoration included cutting out and replacing the floor pan, as well as repairing nearly every piece of plastic to like-new condition, save for the bumpers, which were replaced. Jeff went on to have the interior reupholstered in black with red stitching and to retrofit a pair of Del Sol seats into place using the original sliders. Rear disc brakes from a '89 Integra were bolted on as were steel-braided brake lines at each corner. Even a set of Si wheels was restored and mounted to the DX. Jeff says that he did much of the work himself to get the project to where it is now.
