It's not unusual for Japanese aftermarket companies to offer their most loyal customers a little sum-sumthin' extra in gratitude for their support. This often takes the form of an open-track session, in which the company-on this occasion, ASM-invites their customers to come out for a day, flog their cars and improve their apex attack.

Our lensman in Tokyo tagged along on this particular day, when ASM not only brought out its Tsukuba Special S2000 for a shakedown (prior to the sub-one-minute run), but also brought along a few S2Ks from its customers' fleets.
