The spacers increase plenum volume and allow for a smooth transition of air between the throttle body and the intake manifold. The spacers also include vacuum ports for additional vacuum needs, such as blow-off valves, wastegates, boost/vacuum gauges, etc.. The placement of the vacuum sources ensures zero vacuum loss.
