HT: So you're done?AR: Done?! A car is never done! But as time goes on and technology changes, I'm sure I'll be doing more to it.
HT: What's so special about your car?AR: What I had to go through to get the car done. After the accident I wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to drive it. I made so many new friends through this car too. This car will always have a place in my heart. I had to overcome a lot to get here.
HT: C'mon, give credit where credit is due.AR: Without the help and support of my family, friends, and doctors, I couldn't have done any of this. I owe a lot to the people I'm so lucky to have in my life.

1992 Acura GS-R
Propulsion
Angell's DA is the home of a 1996 spec JDM B18C. The Type R head has been outfitted with Civic Type R cams driven by Toda Gen 2 cam gears and sits on top of a Mugen headgasket. A Civic Type R crank pulley does away with such frivolities as air conditioning and power steering. The whole assembly is held in place with Energy Suspension motor mount inserts. A DC2 Integra Type R intake box and tube (including an OEM Honda filter) have been retrofitted into the second gen. chassis and feed into a matching ITR throttle body that has been bored out to a 70mm diameter by Inline4. Spent gases exit via a Toda competition exhaust manifold through an Omni Power straight pipe and out an RS-R Ex-Mag catback exhaust system. A P61 ECU runs the show with a little bit of help from an Inline4 remapping. The power hits the ground through a YS1 tranny with a JDM ITR final drive and limited slip differential. An Exedy single plate clutch and flywheel make the connection between motor and transmission.
Rims & Rubber
This Milano Red DA rocks a set of 15-inch gunmetal Volk Racing TE37s wrapped in 205/50/15 Falken Azenis RT-215 Sports. The hatch's Sunday shoes are a set of 15x7 Work RSZ-Rs also shod in Falken rubber.
Stance
A set of A'pexi Pro N-1 Dampers have been custom fitted to the 2g chassis using DC front forks and ITR rear lower control arms. Swift 12kg/mm springs suspend the front of the Teg while 10s take care of the rear. Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex polyurethane bushings replace 14-year-old OEM rubber. An EM Racing c-pillar bar, Spoon Sports rear strut bar, and a Full-Race crossmember keep things stiff. An Ingalls camber kit keeps things straight.
Resistance
Wilwood 4-piston calipers clamp down on custom 11-inch RB slotted and crossdrilled rotors up front, while Axxis pads grab Powerslot rotors out back. Fastbrakes Steel-braided brake lines transfer fluid in the front; Earl's do the job in the rear. Angell even went so far as to remove his factory ABS by transplanting a conventional Proportioning valve and matching hard lines from another DA.
Fashion
Outside: MOB Works installed a set of Mugen side skirts along with a VIS Carbon hood and rear hatch including a Flex-A-Lite rear formed Lexan window. The engine bay and exterior were then painted Milano red and JDM DA thin side moldings, one-piece headlights, and side-markers were added.
Inside:
Reyna sits in a Recaro Pole Position seat behind a Mugen Racing II steering wheel with his hand on a Mugen shift knob and his feet on a set of Mugen racing pedals. A Mugen horn button gets the message across. Defi BF oil pressure and water temperature gauges are controlled by a Defi Link Control Unit II.
